Andrew splits his time between the US and Australia and works as a locum in Emergency Medicine and occasionally as a GP. He has significant experience working and leading treks at altitude and has ascents of the central summit of Shishapangma (8013m) in Tibet and Manaslu (8163m) in Nepal under his belt. Andrew enjoys combining his climbing, hiking, mountaineering and other outdoor adventure skills with work as an Expedition Medical Officer. Dr. Andrew’s role with Base Camp is providing our clients with the best advice through our blog, occasional workshops and the coaching of Base Camp staff on how to best advise our clients.
